The Lanier Cluster is seeking head coaches for the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade girls and boys team, respectively. At a minimum, the head coach will need to be able to teach the basic fundamentals of passing, dribbling, catching, shooting, rebounding, and defending.

Basketball Informational Meeting for Interested 8th Graders
|
|
 The preseason informational meeting for all 8th graders interested in trying out for the basketball team or cheerleading team will be held on Thursday, August 26th at 8:30am in the cafeteria.
At this meeting we will be discussing eligibility, expectations, grades, discipline, cost, physicals, conditioning and tryout dates. All interested 8th graders and their parents are welcome to attend.

7th Grade Gateway score reports will go home with report cards. 8th Grade CRCT letters will go home with report cards. State score reports for 6th through 8th grade CRCT do not come in until the summer. These reports will go home with students in the fall of the 2010-2011 school year.

Coaches and Players Needed (GBL)
|

The Lanier Cluster is seeking qualified Head Coaches for the upcoming 2010-11 Gwinnett Basketball League (GBL) season. The Lanier Cluster is seeking head coaches for the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade girls and boys team, respectively. At a minimum, the head coach will need to be able to teach the basic fundamentals of passing, dribbling, catching, shooting, rebounding, and defending. Primarily, the coach will need to be able to establish a practice regimen that ensures the basic fundamentals are taught, the player’s basketball skills are continually increased, and a safe and nurturing environment is ensured to enable the players to develop their skills in basketball and to become respectable young men and women in order to compete with the other Gwinnett County Cluster teams.
