Coach Draper the JV Coach from Lanier High will be conducting the meeting and discussing plans for a volleyball club.

An exciting time awaits for those fathers, stepfathers, significant father-like figures, grandfathers, uncles, or role models to bring their special young lady to the Kiwanis Club of North Gwinnett’s 4th annual Father Daughter Dance on Saturday, February 4th. This year’s dance will be held at Lake Lanier Islands Resorts in the beautiful Grand Hall! From their initial success in a small banquet room in 2009 to their sell-out success last year in the Lake Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge Ballroom, word is out that this is the place to be for creating lasting memories! Just like last year, the North Gwinnett Kiwanis Club will be hosting two dances on the same evening to better accommodate their guests. The first dance will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and the second dance from 9:00 – 11:00 pm. All proceeds from the dance and other Kiwanis Club fundraisers will be reinvested back to the community in the form of scholarships for our area high school seniors or for other community charitable needs. The dance is open to daughters of all ages, from toddler to adult, and promises to be a night of entertainment and fun! Family friendly music will be provided to satisfy the musical taste for all. Attendees from our previous three father daughter dances have travelled from Gwinnett, Hall, Cherokee, Barrow, and Forsyth counties and the ages have ranged from 6 months to 24 years old. Light refreshments will be served, affordable professional photography will be offered, and memories of a lifetime will be created! With a limited number of tickets available and our sell-out success last year, those interested are encouraged to purchase their tickets while they last. Tickets can be purchased online at www.northgwinnettkiwanis.com or from any club member. The cost of the ticket is $40 per couple/$10 for each additional daughter, and the Lake Lanier Island Gate Admission is included with the couple’s ticket. The dress is Sunday Attire and the location address is: Lake Lanier Islands Resort, 7000 Holiday Road, Buford, Georgia 30518. Due to limited seating, we ask that only paying guests attend.
